PKA's Session #3's registration is now available!
Remember the deadline to register for the January & February session is December 21st.
Classes fill on a first come first served basis. Popular classes fill quickly so register early.
Starting in September 2016 PKA will be available on early release days!
On early release days the PKA afternoon will run from 12:30 to 5:30 and will be included, at no extra charge, for all students who are signed up for Wednesdays during that session.
More new changes-
The After School Program will be expanding our flat rate co-op payment system. We will continue to offer the options for two day and full time attendance, with several methods of payment to help working families budget for this. In addition, our co-op program will be extended, enabling parents who play an active role in our schools(volunteering with PKA, PTA or at your elementary school) to apply these hours to be used as payment of PKA sessions. Parents seeking co-op participation must make arrangements with the PKA staff before signing up for the session and are required to document their hours with MSAD 72 staff to fulfill the requirements of their agreement.
Thanks to generous donations there are several scholarships available for every session. You will need to discuss scholarship availability individually with your school’s principal.
The registration deadline for the first session of PKA is this Thursday, September 8th. All forms must be returned to the school office before the end of that school day, so please do not delay.
What is PKA?PKA is an after school enrichment program which serves all three elementary schools in the MSAD 72 district. PKA is held at the C.A. Snow Elementary School in Fryeburg. Each day PKA offers every student a healthy snack, academic support and a variety of enrichment activities. The program runs five, two month sessions through the school year. Registered students may select either any two weekdays or attend every day after school. Students must sign up for each session individually, selecting the days of the week they will attend as well as selecting from the variety of activities offered for each day. Some enrichment activities allow a limited number of student and admittance for such classes will be based upon a first come, first served basis. Sign up forms will be available from your school's newsletter as well as from the PKA site (http://pka.msad72.org/). Transportation at the end of the school day from Brownfield-Denmark Elementary and New Suncook Elementary is provided to the C.A. Snow, however parents must pick up their children in a timely manner at C.A. Snow, no later than 5:30.

It is possible to register for PKA after the sign up deadline. Your child will not be able to start immediately as we will need time to update our records and ensure all school secretaries have been notified of the change.
Please complete a registration form for each child you wish to send, making sure you mark your preference for both the days they will attend and the activities they prefer. Some classes have size limits and may be unavailable.
You may send it to school and they will send it to me through inter-office mail, or you can expedite the process by bringing their completed forms to C.A. Snow.
Once we have entered all your child’s information and updated the school’s list we will then call or email you to let you know what day your child can start. Please supply accurate emails and phone numbers as they are essential for our communication.
